Seawaybill
A seawaybill is a non-negotiable shipping document that serves as a contract of carriage and a receipt for the goods. Unlike a bill of lading, a seawaybill does not transfer title of the goods, making it simpler and faster for the consignee to take delivery of the shipment. It is often used for trusted parties and when the transfer of ownership is not a concern.
